Michelle D. Benton, spiritually known as Priestess Ola Iya Ifasebee, “Michelle Yemaya,” or simply MY, is a spiritual teacher, healer, priestess, and community leader whose work bridges ancestral knowing with modern metaphysical practice. Rooted in Portland, Oregon and carrying the soul of Northern California, she embodies a lineage of prayer, devotion, and generational resilience.
Michelle’s first spiritual initiation came through the hands and heart of her grandmother, Dr. Corliss Diann McDonald, who taught her how to pray, how to listen for God, and how to find refuge in the Psalms of the King James Bible. These early teachings planted the foundation for what would become a lifelong path of sacred service.

In 2019, Michelle founded Yemaya’s Inclinations: Spiritual Offerings Boutique, a sacred space born from her own healing journey and the needs of her community. Originally created to offer handcrafted spiritual tools, ritual items, and energetic support, Yemaya’s Inclinations has grown into a sanctuary of empowerment, teaching individuals how to reclaim their spiritual authority, embrace their birthright, and walk in alignment with their highest destiny.
